Introduction
This unit will include 5 famous places; USA – The statue of liberty, Egypt –The Pyramids, China – The great wall, Canada – Niagara Falls, India –Taj Mahal.. It will also inclide 3 lesson plans. The first two essons (90 minutes) include two parts:
(1) Reading comprehension; (60 minutes) – this part will includes the first two places. I will give the students handouts about each place. We will read it together . (2) Working into groups (30 minutes) – In this part the class will divided into 3 groups. each group will be given a different famous place. They have tom read it together and understand it. The second two lessons (90 minutes): this part will also be divided into two parts:
(1) Working Into groups; (50 minutes): the students will continue what they began in the previous lesson. In this part, and after they read and understand the given place, they have to prepare a poster that will be as an ID for their famous place and then they have to make a presentation on front of the class and introduce their poster. (2) games (40 minutes): students will play a game that will conclude the five famous places and will check the understanding of the students
Goals By the end of this unit students will be able to:
Recall places that the students know or visit.
Explore new places
Discover new informatiom about places the studemt already know or hear about it.
Cooparte and work together in a group.

click on the following map : Which country do you know? Have you been in any place that is shown on the map? What did you see? Now let's talk about famous places around the world. which famous places around the world do you know? Do you think they are important? why or why not? What makes them importnat? Have you ever heard about these places; USA- statue of Liberty.
