Introduction
February is Black History Month. One of the biggest moments in the Civil Rights Movements was in the state of Alabama. Rosa Parks was arrested for refusing to give up her seat. But did you know adults did not want to march to protest what happened to Mrs. Parks? If the adults marched, they would risk losing their jobs and potentially creating violence in their homes. Instead, the children decided to march because they had no jobs to lose. This took place in Birmingham. Read, watch, and use the pictures in the clues folder to escape this room.
