To make most plurals we add 's', 'es' or 'ies' at the end of the noun

  • Don't forget to wash the dishes

In English we have two main articles: 'a/an' and 'the' A/an are used to talk about a non-specific noun

  • I saw a dog (a random dog)
The is used for specific noun
  • I saw the dog (a specific dog)
