Question

Purpose and goal

I choose this question because I like art and I want other people to be informed about some techniques that personally I like. My goal is to help someone who wants to start in the art world to know what art techniques I recommend.

what are the art techniques I recommend?

AcrIlic paint

Acrylic paint is a fast-drying paint made of pigment suspended in acrylic polymer emulsion. Acrylic paints are water-soluble, but become water-resistant when dry.

Watercolors

Watercolor paint is a translucent art medium. Watercolor is basically a colored pigment in a water-soluble binder. The paint dissolves when you add water allowing the pigment to spread with a brush.

Gouache (pronounced ‘gwash’) is water-soluble paint that has a matte finish. It is similar to watercolor but is opaque instead of translucent..

GOUACHE

Pastel

A pastel is typically in the form of a stick, consisting of pure powdered pigment and a binder to hold it all together.

Digital

Digital art refers to any artistic work or practice that uses digital technology as part of the creative or presentation process, or more specifically computational art that uses and engages with digital media.

"I like oleos because every time I see a paint with that technique it make me feel something"
"My favorite is digital because it's like having all the techniques in one, only now in digital, plus the finish is very nice."

Which is your favorite technique and why?

"I love pastels, the paint looks so real but at the same time you can see the texture of the pastels and it's something I love to see."
