Module Overview and Learning Outcomes

This module is designed to provide you with the knowledge and tools to develop your own company digital learning programme as a continuing professional development (CPD) mechanism for your staff. This will be achieved by supporting you to understand the basic Moodle concepts and functions, then to put that knowledge into practice. Upon completion of this module you should achieve the following learning outcomes: 1. Set up a virtual learning environment using the Moodle open-source platform 2. Familiarise yourself with the diverse training components that can be used to serve your training purposes 3. Grasp the core knowledge required to further explore and dive in the many options of Moodle 4. Develop bespoke training content for the particular CPD requirements of your care team / organisation
