Welcome back to your school and to 4th grade.Dear students in this 1st term we are going to learn a lot of interesting vocabulary everyday. You will improve your grammar and your English pronunciation with all these exercises that I will give you.

Hello, I am your English teacher, Irinia Vargas.I am very excited to start and work with you this year, we are going to learn and have a lot of fun.
English really can change your life. English is the official language of 53 countries and spoken by 400 million people across the globe. Being able to speak English is more than just communicating with native speakers as it is the most common second language in the world.
Studying a foreign language can increase cultural knowledge and can help you feel more confident. It's also a fact that learning a second language improves brain funcionality. Studies show that people who speak more that one language have improved memory, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, enhanced concentration, ability to multitask and better listening skills
If you speak English, you won't need to rely on translations and subtitles anymore to enjoy your favorite books, songs, films and TV shows.Watching movies and television programs in the English language is also great and fun way to learn.
What are we going to work with?
We are going to work with this online plataform as a tool to make learning easier. Besides that, we will use the Skyrocket 4 Student's books.
English is one of the easiest languages to learn with its simple alphabet. Once English is mastered you will have developed abilities and practices that you didn't have before, These skills will be transfered to any other language that your learn. Therefore, by understanding English you will unlock the door to a whole new world of information and knowledge.
