Final Year Projects
360° Tour
Final year students undertake unique research projects with academic supervisors, further enhancing their transferrable skills and graduate attributes. Every year we have a wide range of exciting work published with our project students, and some students even present their work at national conferences!
Labs
Our undergraduate chemistry labs are designed to help you gain a range of practical skills whilst training you to think as a chemist during your experimental explorations. From one 3-hour session a week in 1st year, to two 3-hour sessions in 2nd year, to even more in 3rd year, you will spend a significant amount of time gaining these skills.
Tutorials & workshops are used to deliver smaller-group teaching and facilitate active Q&A to enhance learning. Some workshops are held in our computer clusters. All are taught by our Chemistry academics.
You will learn from our chemistry academics on a wide range of topics which cover the curriculum (we are accredited by the Royal Society of Chemistry), Your lecturers are experts in their fields and at the forefront of discoveries in their subject areas. You will experience lectures in large classes in buildings across our campus.
