Look at the image 1. What living things can you see? 2. What nonliving things can you see?

Most living things need food, water, light, temperatures between certain limits, and air. Living things have a variety of characteristics that are displayed to different degrees.

They respire, move, respond to stimuli, reproduce and grow, and are dependent on their environment.

Exercise: Look at the image and answer in your virtual notebook. 1. Is this environment natural or man made? 2. How many groups of living things do you see? 3. Classify the living things and nonliving things.
