Matter Morphing
How are scientists able to change matter?
Changes in State
Changes in state (solid, liquid & gas) are PHYSICAL changes that include boiling, freezing, evaporating, melting or condensing. Mass is always conserved during a phase change.
Physical Changes
Physical changes do not change the chemical composition of the final product.
Chemical Changes
Chemical changes create a new substance with different chemical and physical properties.
During changes of matter, weight is not gained or lost, but it is concerved.
