Conditions such as temperature, humidity, precipitation, clouds, wind speed and wind direction are used to describe weather.

What do the blue and red lines mean?
The blue lines are cold fronts. The red lines are warm fronts. The wind causes fronts to move from place to place. They are called fronts because as they move the change the weather that is in front of them.
What do the H's and L's mean?
The H's are high pressure systems, and the L's are low pressure systems. High pressure systems (H) usually bring nice sunny weather. Low pressure systems (L) usually bring stormy weather.
