The most relevant geographical features in Greece are the seas and the mountains.

The flag was established in 1830. The colours that form it are blue and white. The whole flag represents the sea and the emblem 'either freedom or death' .

Trichonida is the largest lake in Greece and it's located between Panaitoliko and Arakynthos Mountains. Corinth Canal is an artificial waterway that separates the Peloponnese of the rest of the country.

Minerals are one of the most exported items in the country but petroleum ranks first. In Greece, 12% of electricity comes from hydroelectric power plants and they are helping to increase the use of renewable energy.
