Happy February Old Colony Community,
I hope this edition of the Newsletter finds you all safe and warm as we navigate through another weird New England Weather. This weekend's storm lasted a long time, but did not deliver a huge punch. We have a lot going on this winter at Old Colony. The Drama Club is gearing up for their production of the Addams Family on January 27, 28 and 29. We are excited to announce the return of the Frosty Runner Road Race on January 28th. Our AP classes are going the extra mile with their partnership with Mass Insight, sports are in full swing and Mr. Cougar can’t be far off. We continue to recognize our faculty and students for the amazing things they do in and outside the classroom. In honor of Martin Luther King Day, we have honored his legacy with one of his famous quotes on our markee that is a reflection of our core beliefs and a special remembrance of his life achievements at our All School Assembly led by our Assistant Principal, Mr. Linehan, on January 17th.
“I have decided to stick with love, hate is too great a burden to bear”
