01. RESUME

Who We are

Our team, Robolobos Green is a student-led FTC team from Cedar Park High School. We design and create robots that compete in competitions held by FIRST Robotics. Along with competing in competions we teach younger members intrested in robotics and hold outreach events throught the comunity to inspire others about engingeering and STEM.

What We Do

Hardware

Design

Use CAD models and build a robot

Design and create a plan with CAD modeling

Software

Business

sstruct group_info init_groups = { .usage = ATOMIC_INIT(2) }; struct group_info *groups_alloc(int gidsetsize){ struct group_inf0 </>

Program the robot to make it move

Design and create a plan Expand team opportunities and get sponsors CAD modeling

Robotics Design Process

Build

Idea

Apply the design in the real world

Consider an innovation or new part

Test

Design

Use the design and return to step 1 as needed

Create a way for the idea to work

Parts used

Motion

Structure

Motors, Servos, Wheels, Gears

Beams, Brackets, Rails

Electronics

Hardware

Sensors, Cameras, Batteries, Hubs

SScrews, nuts, bolts

Mecanum Drive

Pros:

  • Full 360o freedom of movement
  • Fast
  • Easy to implement
Cons:
  • Easy to push
  • Inconsistent based on floor friction

Differential Swerve

Pros:

  • Full 360o freedom of movement
  • High push power
  • Consistent
  • Very Awesome 😎
Cons:
  • DIFFICULT to implement
  • Delicate
  • Low clearance
  • Overengineered

Motor Programing

.setTargetPosition()

.setVelocity()

.setPower()

Gamepad

Input types: Digital - returns TRUE or FALSE Analogue - returns 0 to 1
