CURIOSITY
OHIO IS THE STATE WITH THE MOST PRESIDENTS IN THE UNITED STATES. OHIO IS ALSO KNOWN AS A COW STATE DUE TO THE HIGH CONCENTRATION OF CATTLE FARMS
Cleveland has become a major tourist destination largely due to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and its popular sports teams. It sits along the shore of Lake Erie, and the Historic Gateway District is a fun area that has undergone revitalization and is fun to explore.
Cincinnati is a great place to visit for the arts and culture. Here you can find outdoor gardens, museums, and art galleries, including the Krohn Conservatory and many others.
PLACES TO VISIT
lemon shaker pie – also known as Ohio lemon pie, the filling is made from lemons, sugar, and eggs and when made is similar to a custard or lemon curd
Buckeyes – Almost exclusively found in Ohio, Buckeye Candy is made with a peanut butter blend that is then partially dipped in chocolate. The candy is designed to look like the nut of the buckeye tree, which is indigenous to Ohio and is also the source of the state's nickname "the buckeye state.".
LOCAL DISHES
Fauna -In addition to numerous fish species (catfish, pike, perch), wildlife is present with rabbits, deer, quail, ducks, squirrels, and turkeys, and with some specimens of brown BEARS. Opossums, muskrats, raccoons, and mink are still trapped in some rural areas.
