My author

The author of my book is an Asian-American woman, who writes in the modern day and my book isn't her first written. In fact, before it, she has published a highly-successful trilogy.

The essence of the book

Some key phrases about the book:
  • The city of Oxford
  • The act of Translation
  • A certain Bible myth
  • Silver~

words which raise interest

...or the necessity of violence

3 questions I had before reading the book
  • What is the book's genre and does it have a magic system?
  • Would the book be interesting enough for me to invest in buying it?
  • What distinguishes the book from others in the same genre?
3 questions the book answered
  • Is it morally correct to live lavishly while people from your country live in poverty?
  • Is violence necessary?
  • Why is translation so important for the book's plot?

Why should you read it?

While there are many reasons you should read this amazing book, here are just three of them:

  • It challenges your beliefs and view of the world.
  • It's a captivating and slow-paced story that is very well executed.
  • It will definitely make you feel very strong emotions by the end.

Amazing qualities

It may seem a bit predictable to choose the main character as my favourite, but I admire Robin Swift quite a lot. He is clever, righteous and most of all-careful, which may sound boring, but I find reckless protagonists quite annoying and he was a breath of fresh air.

3 truths about myself

I tend to be selfish at times, not caring for the world around me and its state. I romanticize prestigious universities, ignoring their blatant elitism. I get attached to main characters way too quickly.

Here're some quotes:)

And finally, my book is...
