I was brought into this world here in Maryland and this is where I have lived all my life; I've resided in Landover majority of my life. My parents are directly African, so I come from an African background. My research aims to discuss the history of my family and my community.

My oldest living relative as of today is my mother's mom, who is in her late eighties. She was born in Nigeria and had multiple children, some of which aren't her own. My mother is one of her actual children, who is a middle-aged woman. Both of my parents were also born in Nigeria, while me and my sisters were born here in the US.

I was born in the legendary kingdom of Nri. I was born to the current queen of the kingdom who was my mother, and a common villager who was my father. However, one day the kingdom slowly fell apart, due to colonization. As my parents did not want me to grow up with all the commotion that was around us, we fled to what was called "British America".
