1. Biography

Ralph Lauren is a fashion designed and he was born in October 14, 1939 in New York. He studied at the University of New York, but dropped out before completing the course. He was a soldier for 2 years in the US Army. In 1967, after leaving the army, he created his own brand with his own name. Ralph Lauren is married to Ricky Lauren, with whom he has 3 children: Dylan Lauren, David Lauren and Andrew Lauren. His mum was Fraydl Kotlar and his dad was Frank Lifshitz

The Ralph Lauren story began in 1967, at first they only produced ties, after, they started to produce men's wear and 4 years later, the first mixed boutique opened in Beverly Hills. Polo, his first perfume for men, and Lauren, a women's fragrance, appeared in 1978. These would be the first items to inaugurate a product line that never stopped growing, especially in the 80's. In 1995 launched affordable Polo jeans and womenswear collections. In 2000, Ralph Lauren Media was born with the website "polo.com". The stylist also founded the Ralph Lauren Cancer Treatment and Prevention Center to offer people the best quality in the diagnosis and treatment of the disease.
