Welcome!
A recent archeological dig has uncovered what seems like a maze of tunnels underneath the ancient city of Samaria, the capital of the northern kingdom of Israel during the era of the Divided Kingdom. You, now an expert in Old Testament, have been asked to come search the tunnels and offer your expertise as the team discovers what the ancient Israelites built these tunnels for. As you and the team arrive at the uncovered entrance to the tunnels, you see this writing on a stone near the entrance:
The last bits have faded beyond recognition. The team collectively decides to enter anyway, so you begin the journey into the maze with some trepidation...
Two paths are set before you: life and death. Choose life and turn back from this place. Enter and choose death T[-]…ark of pres[-]...pure and holy
Next
You enter the first room, and it looks like there is no way through. Upon further examination you discover there is a hidden door that is locked by some mechanism. There are six slots on the wall next to the door, and you notice six cylindrical stones on the ground. When you examine the stones more closely, you notice there are images carved onto the stones. Maybe if you could figure out which stones belong in which slots...
Let's Do it!
Note: you notice some faded writing on the wall above the slots...
That's right!
Press the "verification" button to check your answers...
Try again...
Drag and drop the stones into the slots on the wall. The question you need to figure out: which stone belongs in which slot?
Next
Click on the stones to reveal their carvings.

You walk through the last door and discover a long, narrow hallway. You know better than to carelessly start walking, because you've watched movies like Indiana Jones and know that something like this is bound to have traps rigged throughout. Upon further examination, you notice pressure plates on the floor, each with words on them. They seem to correspond to words etched into the walls. Perhaps these pressure plates correspond to the writings on the walls as answers to questions? What would happen if you step on the wrong one? It's probably best not to find out...

You've entered what seems to be a treasure vault, clearly with Egyptian influences. You think it strange to find so much connection to Egypt in a tunnel built by Israelites under the city of Samaria...is there some possibility of an Israelite king of the northern kingdom who had some connection with Egypt? Perhaps you might find a clue that shows you something from the Old Testament... For now, you need to find a way to open the next door in this room.

This "test" points to a person who is introduced in the New Testament of the Bible, both because that person passes God's tests and because that person passes the ultimate test by becoming a substitute sacrifice like the ram was for Isaac. Who is that person?
You pulled the wrong cord! A log with huge spikes would have swung down and nailed you... good thing you can just try again!

The final lantern is lit! A large diamond rises up out of the sarcophagus. You notice a piece of paper beside it. It reads: "You have given me my proper name, take my prize. Bring light to my place of rest, and the door to the greatest of treasures will be open to you. But beware, all who enter and are unholy shall face certain death..." The four lanterns trigger another light above the door frame. Perhaps if you could refract the light with some sort of clear object and reflect it with other mirror-like objects...
let's try it
The sarcophagus opens up and reveals a stair case leading down below the vault. Now, all that's left is to go down and finally discover what secret this maze has been hiding for so long...
enter
So, Jerboam must have maintained his connection with Egypt even after he returned, having them help build this maze-tomb for him... It seems, after Jeroboam died, some Israelites must have continued to use this place to hide whatever is at the end of this bridge. But what would they need to hide with such an intense maze like this?
let's find out
It's the Ark of the Covenant! Some Israelites must have known about this place and moved it here before Babylon invaded Jerusalem. You remember the faded writing at the entrance to this maze:
Two paths are set before you: life and death. Choose life and turn back from this place. Enter and choose death. T[-]…ark of pres[-]...pure and holy
The bridge and the walls began to collapse! You and your team rushed back through the maze and came out at the entrance you initially found. A huge dust cloud billowed out from the entrance as the tunnels finished caving in. Once the dust settled, the entrance was completely covered and there was no way to get back in...even if you could, there's no way the tunnels would still be in tact. You've made the discovery of a life time! It's too bad you weren't able to bring the Ark out, but perhaps it is for the best... As you pack up your things and prepare to leave the site, your team thanks you for your service. They couldn't have made this discovery without your knowledge of the Old Testament!
.The End ...
This is talking about the Ark of the Covenant! Only those who are holy can be in the presence of God, which is why the Old Testament records that people died when carelessly touching the Ark.
