Causes of pollution in Ecuador

Vehicles The greatest air pollution is caused by vehicles using low-quality hydrocarbons.

Ecuadorian cities continue to grow along with energy production systems, industries and transport, which are the main causes of air pollution. The pollution of our country comes from various sources.

Volcanic eruptions Volcanic ash contains lead, cadmium and arsenic.

Causes of pollution in Ecuador

Electricity generation Hydroelectric plants emit particularized material product of combustion engines, in addition to the gases already mentioned above.

Deforestation: indiscriminate logging in forests and jungles prevents trees, responsible for purifying the air, from carrying out this task and thousands of animals and plants from becoming extinct because they do not have a place to live and grow.
