Welcome to the Assessor's Property Search.
The propose of this page is to introduce you to the many ways to work the assessor's property search. All the information that can be accessed through the assessor's and where to go should someone need a physical copy of a property deed or record.
Assessor Property Records
Here you will find the first page of the Assessor's site.
The first thing here you're going to want to do is pick search for property.
- Owner's Name
- When entering in the name, go Last, First
- Address Number
- Here, you will need to type in the number to the exict same number.

Here is where you start off in the property search
3. This is where you enter in the Street Name c. Try to spell it correctly. If that doesn't work try different ways of spelling it. 4. Lastly enter in the city in which they live. 5. This is all you need to enter. 6. Once all that is enter, hit the find property button at the bottom

General Information gives all the basic information needed about the property.
Here it lists where the property is located as well as the owner where they are located.

Here you will find the Sales information.
- Sale Date
- Reception No.
- Sale Price
- Deed Type
The next one is Value Information.
- Abstract Code/ Description
- Value Type
- Actual Value
- Assess Value
- Net Acres
- Net Sq. Ft.
Sale Information
This is where you will find more information about the Sale Information section in Property Search of Assessor's Site.
On the picture to the right, you will see that is called the Sale Date.
The first sale date is when the current owner purchased the home.
Next to the sale date, you will see the Reception Number.

Clicking on that number will take you to the LandMark Records for Larimer County.
Sale Information
Next, you will see Sale Price
This is the price that they paid for the property.
Last is Deed Type
This is the type of deed that the owner has for that property.
Now, there may be more dates and reception numbers listed. This will show a certain amount of owners that have been in possession of this perticular porperty. It will also show when and how long they owned it.
Clerk and Records: Recording Department
Here is where the titling ageny of whatever real company the person bought the property from records the deed at.
The recording department is the ones reposnible for the recording of the original documents. This is where the owner of the property would go or get in contact with to obtain copies of these documents.
Easy Access
Here you will find what is called Easy Access. This is what leads to accessing the Landmark link.

One of the things that this part of the Easy Access site has towards the bottom of the page, a user guide for those who don't know how to work the Landmark Records. It also has the user guide for registering to the Landmark Records Site.
This is were you find the link to Landmark Records. All you have to do here is here the visit East Access Portal
Landmark Web Offical Recording
This is will you can access more detailed recording of the property record. Though, in order to access this information, you must have registered to the site.
This is what the home page looks like. From here if you haven't registered the circled part below is where you want to go.
Once, that is done. Look for the person icon. Clicking on that will go to the search page.

This is what the search page should look like. Here the first thing you will want to do is look for where it say name. You will see nexdt to it, Starts with, You will want to change that to contains then in the box next to it. Type in the name of the person you are searching for, Next go to the Begin and End date. Here you want to enter in the correct dates. Next go to show first .... records. Change that to show first 2000 records. Click Submit.

Here you will see where the results for that name search leads.
Below, you will a row of tabs. Status, Name, Grantor, Grantee, Record date, Doc type, Book type, Book, Page, Reception #, Doct Links, Legal.
There is where the list of known documents will be listed below.

To view a document within that list, look for the document that is to be viewed. Next select the name Click on the neme. The document will open, Once the document is opened, there will be an image that pops up On one side will be the index. The index will have all the information obtaining to that document. On the other side will the image of the document. This will have a watermark over it. Should say something like unoffical copy.
