we will model how to read a story. We will start with modeling the procedure, using a spoke diagram. brainstorming ideas.

we will read the text and we will see what the facts are. think about the task while the teacher is reading and we will write down the ideas in the diagram along the reading.

we will have the students practice reading with a partner and complete the activity together.
