Before you being, be sure to access the Gatherly link provided.

Allow Gatherly Access

As soon you access the link provided, a pop up will appear asking to access your mic and camera. Go ahead and click Ok, got it.

Setup your audio and video settings.

The next sections will allow you to test your audio and video settings. Be sure to click through the camera, microphone, and speaker tabs and conduct each test to esnure you are able to participate fully within Gatherly. For more information about each test hover over the icons on the corner of each image. When you are ready, click the Continue button in the bottom right corner.

You have enter AVI LAB. Now what?

You will enter on the Welcome Floor. Think of it like the foyer before walking into a conference. You can mingle, ask questions, or just hang out before the session gets started. You will start off in the upper left-hand corner of the map. You can either: 1) Move your icon to another icon to video chat with that person(s). 2) Move your icon to another spot in the room and wait by yourself for the introduction instructions. 3) Move to the circle that says Help Desk and someone will come by to answer any questions you may have.

2.Gatherly Platform

Throughout our time together you will be asked to move to a new floor. Each floor represents a different scene in the bigger AVI LAB experience. Think of it like a hotel; you have the lobby, the market, the bar, the pool, and your room. All have a unique function within the overall hotel experience. To change floors, simply move yourself on the map to the Elevators. A pop-down will appear. Select the floor you would like to move. Once the new map appears, click anywhere on the new map to exit the elevators.
