DISCLAIMER

In the first few slides I'll explain in a general way some things that I consider necessary to get started with the proper topic of this presentation. So please read them, even if they may seem boring or dull, because I'll refer to them after. Enjoy babes!

HARRY EDWARD STYLES

Harry was born in Redditch on the 1st February 1994, but grew up in Holmes Chapel, England. He played in a band called White Eskimo.

After the band split up, he released three solo albums named Harry Styles, Fine Line and Harry's House.

He has an older sister called Gemma and gained two step siblings after his mother Anne remarried in 2013. His stepfather later died of cancer in 2017.

Harry has started a film carreer, starring in Dunkirk, My Policeman, Don't Worry Darling and in the MCU. He has done also two world tours.

During his time in the band, his character was built around the figure of a womanizer, always single and constantly in search for older women to seduce (ew he was 16).

Harry has his own brand called Pleasing, is the first man who has ever appeared on the cover of Vogue and is a major Gucci testimonial.

They were undeniably so cute together. They first briefly dated in 2014, then got back together at the beginning of 2016 and split up at the end of the same year.

So fucking iconic. Their relationship lasted for just a few weeks but was a major pop culture moment. Maybe was a stunt for promotional purposes.

They dated for a short period of time in 2011; the age gap between them (17 and 32) was outrageous. Also RIP to her, who sadly passed away in 2020.

This is Harry's most long relationship. They dated for almost two years and met on the set of the movie Don't Worry Darling, in which she was the director. Split up at the end of 2022.

LOUIS WILLIAM TOMLINSON

Louis was born on Christmas' Eve of 1991 and comes from Doncaster, England. He was previously in a band called The Rogue.

After the band split up, he released some singles (also featuring Bebe Rexa and Steve Aoki) and two albums, named Walls and Faith In The Future.

Unfortunately, in 2016 his mother Johannah died of Leukemia and in 2019 one of his sisters (Felicite) passed away at the age of 18 after an overdose.

Louis has been a judge on the X Factor UK 2018, has done a lot of charity and he's now about to start his second world tour.

Louis had a son on January 2016 called Freddie with the american stylist Briana Jungwirth (there's no place for babygate here).

At the beginning of the band, Louis was portrayed as the extroverted joker of the group, but later on his role changed into the aggressive and sassy one.

They dated for 3 years, broke up in 2015 to get back together in 2017 until now (2023), but they go back-and-forth all the time. Also, sometimes she changes her face, but that's ok.

MY BESTIE, I loved her. They were a couple for about a year, from November 2015 to December 2016 and I miss her daily.

They saw each other a few times in may 2015 and she ended up pregnant with Freddie, who was born in January 2016.

They were dating since before One Direction was formed, but due to the busy schedule of Louis' new band they split up in 2011.

WHAT IS MODEST?

During the One Direction years, every one of the members had to face the hard reality of being a celebrity: lots and lots of paparazzi, interviewers asking awkward questions, a great amount of fake news about them and, of course, the unceasing press interest. Their management agency Modest! was usually behind everything the media said and wrote about the boys, and is known to be absolutely careless about the negative side of fame and the impact it can have on physical and mental stability. But why did they choose Modest to be their media representatives? One Direction had been signed right after the end of their X Factor journey by SYCO, record label owned bySimon Cowell, a famous enterpreneur and talent scout in the music industry; one of the requests of SYCO was for them to sign with Modest to take care of their media appearances and their public brand, and that's how their nightmare began. Just to clarify, by this I don't mean that their whole 1D experience was terrible, but that a large part of its negativity was caused, directly or indirectly, by their management team.

HARRY THE WOMANIZER

<<you're the womanizer, right?>>

Harry had a role to play in One direction. I mean, all five of them had one, but his was definitely the one that lasted the longest, as it keeps following him even in his solo carreer. Since he was only 16 years old, the press (under the directives of Modest) gave him the part of the womanizer, the cheeky young boy who likes to spend time with elder women and flirts with every girl he speaks to. It became a thing right away, there were articles about him dating "another one" almost every week as soon as One Direction gained a little bit of fame. It's awful to think about it, especially as he was just a kid, but the journalists couldn't care less. Of course this character doesn't fit Harry in any way, and us fans know it, but the way he is portrayed is obviously damaging for him and for the way he is seen by people outside the fandom.

LOUIS THE ARROGANT

LOUIS THE JOKER

But as the years went by, the role that his management agency gave him changed drastically. He began being referred to as the aggressive guy of the group, at times rude or even violent. His typical sassyness became the excuse the press used to call him "arrogant"; they even wrote articles about him being unpleasant and ungrateful to his fans, posting pictures of him flipping off the fandom, as if it was his way to express the anger he felt for them. I mean... come on, seriously? They also tried to call him out for being homophobic, and about that I'll have to explain something in the next slide.

Between the One Direction boys, Louis is the oldest and for this reason someone may think was also the "responsible" one, but it couldn't be farther from the truth. He was immediately given the role of the joker, the guy who always makes you laugh with his strong accent and his sassyness, but also the troublemaker that wasn't able to behave himself during interviews. Therefore at the beginning, his part in the band fitted him well, as he actually was and is hilarious, but this aspect of his persona was largely exaggerated and evolved in being basically the only thing people considered him for. It is also important to state the difference between his character and Niall's one, who was also "funny" but in a goofy and clumsy way.

LOUIS IS HOMOPHOBIC?

I know this is taking you by surprise; the whole document is about a possible romance between two guys, and still we are facing the homophobia topic regarding Louis himself. How is this even possible? Well, during his carreer a couple of questionable events happened, related to him being unsupportive of LGBTQIA+ community. Here's the link to an article that sums up all of the accusations: At first I must admit I was quite upset with all of this; it may seem a lot to deal with, especially if you are a member of the community, but I invite you to follow me in this reasoning. I won't comment his friends, because even if their opinions are disturbing, it has nothing to do with Louis. And what should I say about his tweet, reacting to that article about his Apple shirt? I mean it's obvious that the journalist seized the opportunity to grab some visualizations, with a clickbait title and mentioning Harry in the essay (if you want, you can read it online), and I actually can understand why it may have bothered Louis. Our Doncaster boy is well known for speaking his mind without a second thought, so I'm not surprised by the tone he used. And I don't understand how people can say it was homophobic: he was just annoyed by all of that drama for nothing, and it clearly doesn't mean he hates the LGBTQIA+ community or that he thinks "gay is an insult". At last but not least, here we come to the first part of the document I linked before; it's of course the hardest to argue with, as I can't say absolutely anything to defend him. We cannot tell for sure obviously, but it seems very likely that he in fact harrassed that guy during high school, according to the multiple accusations addressed to him by different people. Everything we can say about it is that times have changed (he studied in the early 2000's and was really young, when sexuality was still a taboo: it's not an excuse for his attitude, but it may be one of the reasons) and Louis himself has changed a lot since then. And his concerts, fans, speeches, interviews, are the proof of that, with him being supportive and welcoming with anyone. So, in conclusion, I'm not justifying him and I really think that bullying is a disgusting behavior, but I'm 100% sure he's changed and in the next slide is why.

NO, I DON'T THINK LOUIS IS HOMOPHOBIC

OMG I fucking love this man. So please, don't take this "Louis is homofobic" bullshit too serious and let the haters do the only thing they're able to do: hate. Just enjoy this journey and let's get started!

WHAT ABOUT THEIR OWN FANDOMS?

As you will imagine, Harry and Louis have fandoms that are not always the same. That's because after going solos, not every Directioner became a fan of all five boys, and often the fandom split into different groups. But on the other hand they gained more public that wasn't a 1D stan before, so the cards on the table changed inevitably. They play also very different genres of music right now, so it's not that hard to believe that maybe who likes Harry won't be that enthusiastic about Louis' songs and viceversa, even if there are a lot of exceptions (myself included). Sometimes the two fandoms get in fights over something that's usually Larry-related, as a lot of new enters are not familiar with their lives during the band era and with the Directioners in general: Harry fans always play the card of "Harry has more success", while Louis stans reply with "Louis has more real fans and less posers". It's actually a pretty annoying thing for the ones who belong to both fandoms, but it is what it is.In the next two slides I'll explain in a few words what the two fandoms consist of.

HARRIES

Harry's fans, named Harries for obvious reasons, are way more than Louis'. And that's a fact: he gained a big part of them after going solo, and those are called Solo Harries. They're considered the most aggressive side of his fandom and a little disrespectful to his past in the band and to the fans of the other boys, as they haven't shared with them the same path. Harry has become a fashion icon, so his concerts are conceived as a fashion show by the fans, that work sometimes for days at their outfits. Being an LGBTQIA+ exponent (even if he never labelled himself as one), his public is in general split in half between straight girls and queer people.

LOUIES

Louis' fans, called Louies, are at the same time different but similar to Harries. They're most of the time LGBTQIA+ members and his concerts are literally a pride everytime. Even if Louis has never waved a rainbow flag on stage (as opposed to Harry, who has made it his "brand") has many times publicly proved to be a great ally of the queer community and made them feel welcome to his fandom, leading them to be free to express themselves during his performances. The majority of his fanbase comes from his 1D years, so is known to be loyal and dedicated. That's why there's a close bond between Louis and Louies, which leads to their habit to flip each others off in a friendly way.

WHY THESE TWO COLOURS?

In the One Direction era, the boys chose different colours to distinguish their mics during their concert, being all of them calibrated on their own unique voices. From that moment, these colours stuck in the fandom and became a major symbol of each one of them.

As you can notice in the picture, Louis' microphone was blue and Harry's was green; that's why these two colours are a big sign of the ship between them. So when you find blue and green hearts in a directioner's IG or Twitter bio, it means they stan Larry.

Now it's time to make a difference between Larries and Bluegreeners. They are both Larry stans, but the second term is used to describe those who take some things way too far and are often disrespectful to anyone who doesn't share their same thoughts. Additionally, they believe every "proof" that's given to them, even the ones that are clearly untrue or very unlikely.

WHAT DOES THE 1D FANDOM THINK OF LARRIES?

We just talked about the difference between Larries and Bluegreeners, but these are not the only two terms used to describe the Larry fandom and people associated with it. There are a few more, such as:

In the 1D fandom, there are constant internal fights between Larries and Non-Larries (to be distinguished from the Anties, as they don't hate but just don't believe in Larry). The majority of these quarrels happen due to inappropriate behaviours of Larries, who engage in harassment towards those who don't share their same beliefs or towards the boys directly, disturbing them with Larry-related things with no regards at all. In conclusion, being a Larrie is interesting, fun and nice in general, but can also be hard because of the actions of a few that cause general chaos, reason why there are often squabbles inside the fandom itself, in which Larries try to educate the rude people to be less uncivil.

LARRY'S FIRST PHOTO

What other word can we use to describe this moment if not iconic? This picture dates back to July 21st of 2010. Stating Louis' words in One Direction book Dare to Dream, he decided to take a photo with Harry after he heard him sing, because he knew Harry was going to be famous. Louis also said that on the same day he hugged him and told him "don't worry, you'll be fine". Watch me sobbing.

But that wasn't the first time they saw each other. Both Harry and Louis went to the X Factor casting in Manchester, on July 9th of 2010: Louis was accompanied by Hannah Walker (his girlfriend at the time), while Harry was there with his mom Anne. Based on Hannah's tweet, that's when she and Lou first saw Harry.

H and L also met before that picture, but they didn't properly introduced themselves in that occasion. We're talking about July 18th of 2010, so three days before their first ever real meeting. The boys on the X Factor Bootcamp had to learn a song (Man in the mirror by Michael Jackson) to perform in front of the judges, and a video was taken of some of them singing the track together: there you can see Louis (next to the guy playing guitar) and Harry standing in front of each other, but they didn't actually interact.

HI & OOPS!

Now, follow me in the timeline: we have July 18th (when they sang on the stairs, but they didn't really know each other) and July 21st (when they took the photo together). So they introduced themselves in one of these three days, and that's for sure. But how did they meet? There are a couple of interviews where, later on their One Direction carreer, they mentioned the fact that they met in the toilets during Bootcamp.

Noted this, we come across to one of Harry's tweets. We're obviously not sure whether it's about this or not, but certainly it lines up with what we just said and with the story that Larries made about how he and Louis actually met. Being between quotation marks, means it's a statemen that someone said to Harry, so maybe this is the first actual conversation they had. Larry stans also think that because of their (matching?) tattoos; one of Harry's first tattoos was Hi on his arm, and OOPS! was one of Louis'. Do you get why everything fits perfectly? Louis said "Hi" to Harry when he walked in the toilet and then Harry peed on Lou, saying "Oops". In addition, these tattoos seem to be in each other's handwritings, and here's a comparison.

THEIR FIRST HUGS (THAT WE KNOW ABOUT)

As we all know, the five boys auditioned as solos and were all rejected after Bootcamps. After a few thoughts though, the judges called them back on stage together and decided to form a band. We are aware they had met before that moment, but as far as we know their bond wasn't that strong, considering the fact that the Bootcamps lasted just a week and they didn't have much time to create a proper relationship. But look at this video:

Louis literally jumped into Harry's arms, when they were supposed to have talked just a couple times before. Like wtf. After this cute moment, the boys spent two weeks in Harry's father's bungalow, getting to know each other and rehearsing for their performance at the Judge's House (when they sang Torn by Natalie Imbruglia. ICONIC). But then, drama: Louis was stung by a sea urchin while he was swimming and had to go to the hospital. It all brings us to the "dramatic" scene in this X Factor episode, where we see Lou appearing right before the performance like some sort of miracle. Guess who's the first one to run towards him?

CAPTAIN NIALL INTRODUCTION

This is the first time that someone put the two names Harry and Louis in the same sentence, as at the time One Direction wasn't officially a group yet (the episode of the X Factor where 1D was formed hadn't hired yet); it's already a big deal speaking of this, but if you get the meaning behind these words it's even better. Niall refers to a conversation he had with Harry that same day, during which something about Louis came up. Something that Lou told just to Harry, and so urgent that Niall was quite worried about it. I wonder what it is. Also, in the morning of that same day Harry posted a tweet about falling in love with someone. This may sound silly, but remember that back then H and L were 16 and 18, very young and yes, even silly.

THEIR FIRST TWEETS OPENLY ABOUT EACH OTHER

Now we are coming close to the official beginning of One Direction's carreer: on September 26th, the episode about the band formation aired on tv and the boys were finally allowed to post and talk freely about each other. So here are some tweets that were published the day after (just some, not all of them).

LIFE THROUGH A LENS

On September 20th, the boys moved into the X Factor House and on October 2nd officially began their adventure on the talent show. Every week aired footages on tv to show the behind the scenes of the X Factor contestants' lives inside the House; these clips are called Life Through A Lens and here I'll leave you some of the cutest moments between Louis and Harry that have been recorded in them.

THE PERFORMANCES - WEEK 2

During the second episode of the X Factor Live, One Direction performed a Kelly Clarkson song called My Life Would Suck Without You. At the end of their act, Louis squeezed Harry and left his hand on his shoulder until their time to get off stage came. The day after, just before the results of the episode were announced, all the contestants sang Telephone by Lady Gaga; once finished the performance, Harry took Louis' hand.

THE PERFORMANCES - WEEK 5

In the fifth episode of the X Factor Live, the boys sang Kids in America by Kim Wilde. During the video presentation of the track, Louis had his arm around Harry (as usual), but this time Harry tried to reach for Louis' hand with his thumb, looking for a touch. And later on, at the end of their performance, Harry puts his head on Louis' shoulder. How cute, I'm gonna cry.

POP, FLOP OR FIZZLE - WEEK 2

A lot of X Factor content was published on a variety of YouTube channels while the boys were still in the House. One of these is a format called Pop, Flop or Fizzle in which the contastants had to listen and then judge a list of pop songs. This is the first time that I'm showing you guys the insane obsession of Louis for Harry's curls, but we'll have so many more chances to dig deeper into it later.

FASHION TIPS

This is another extra content published on YouTube, where the band shares with us their fashion tips (it's already funny enough, like, have you seen them?). But look at Harry and Louis in this video... JUST LOOK AT THEM. And also, what did I tell you about Louis' obsession? Here it is again.

MR AND MISS(ES)

Mr and Miss(es) is a series of episodes, in which the contestants had to battle 1 vs 1 with some questions, giving the answer they thought the other challenger would have given and viceversa. This extract comes from the battle between One Direction and Belle Amie, another group of the X Factor 2010.

BACKSTAGE OF WEEK 5

This comes from the backstage video of the rehearsals before week 5 performances: One Direction will sing with a group of cheerleaders running around them, but in this clip Louis and Harry tell quite a different thing... I wrote the subtitles for you, and it's obviously up for interpretations, but here's what a lot of people hear.

MEGAMIND WEEK 5

Yeah, a lot happened during week 5. This is an episode of Megamind, a format where two contestants challenge each other with a series of questions in a short period of time. It's hosted by Louis and this week's guests were Rebecca Ferguson and Harry. "SHOW ME!" & "I'm sorry sunshine"... I actually have no words.

QUICKFIRE

This is another series of videos called Quickfire, where Louis is for the umpteenth time the host and the contestants have to ask each other very fast questions without laugh or hesitate in giving the answers. The peculiarity here is that at the end of every episode, Louis decreed Harry as the winner, even though he wasn't even playing. This is not a proof of course, but they're so cute I'll leave you these clips anyways.

THE FASHION TRAILER

This footage is a masterpiece. It's an extract from a clip where some of the X Factor contestants comment on their outfits for their incoming performances; these are Harry and Louis... I don't even know what to say anymore. The constant physical touch, the smiles, the jokes, the balls and the final this is us are probably my 13th reason.

HARRY'S HAIR

One Direction became super popular as soon as the band was formed: an increasing number of fans requested the same hairstyles as the boys, so the X Factor created a new format to show how to replicate them. When it was Harry's turn guess who was standing nearby, waiting for him to be finished? (note: if you watch the other boys' videos, you'll see that they waited for each others too; the difference is that Louis and Harry are always doing stuff together, while the others swapped constantly)

NOW KISS ME YOU FOOL

F FACTOR - WEEK 2

During the second episode of F Factor (a YouTube format where at the end of every X Factor week the host discussed its highlights) Harry reaches for Louis' hand, whose arm was leaning over Zayn's shoulder. And also, a few moments before Louis was messing with Harry's head. Should we all comment? I don't think so.

EXTENDED QUESTION TIME - WEEK 7

Actually I was freaking out 'cause I couldn't find this particular moment in the usual episode of question time (another format in which the contestants answer questions) and I vividly remembered was from week 7; then I discovered that an extended version of it existed, so now I'm satisfied. Can't say anything more than ENJOY.

LARRY STYLINSON INTRODUCTION

I'm sure that by now you're able to tell the difference between a cute moment and a major deal; well this one is surely one of the foundations of our ship. Gemma (Harry's sister) tweeted LOVE Stylinson on November 21st, with a link that connects to a photo that's now been deleted, but I'll leave it here. It is referring to Larry Stylinson as a bromance between her brother and Louis, but it's the first time that a person firsthand related to the boys uses that term. It was unknown yet to the biggest part of the One Direction fandom, as it was created a few days before on Twitter and had been used just on that social media. On the following days, Harry tweeted these:

LOUIS IS MISSING

This one's actually hilarious. On October 7th, Liam tweeted about the band's rehearsals ahead of the first X Factor episode.

And until now, that's normal. But then, Hannah replied:

You may wonder: Louis must be very busy if his girlfriend is looking for him so desperately that she had to write a tweet to one of his bandmates asking where he was, right? He's definitey ignoring her calls for a good reason. Well, here's the good reason:

CHINESE NIGHT

This is another important moment for the Larry fandom. It's a footage taken from a video posted by Sainsbury's YouTube channel (an english supermarket that was a sponsor fot the entire X Factor season), in which the cooks prepared chinese food and gave it to the contestants. First of all I'd like to say how much I miss Zouis, and secondly I love how Zayn is referring to "bromances" in such an ironic way (like bromances pop out on the internet like mushrooms), while on the other side of the table Harry gets so jealous of Louis.

LOUIS' FIRST COOKING

I KNOW that if you're already a larrie you were waiting for this moment to show up. I just know it, it's such a classic. On december 3rd, Harry made a tweet in which he says that Louis was cooking for the first time. Aknowledged this, now take a look at all of these interviews, and then we can talk about everything.

As you can see, the boys have heard so many times this story that they have even memorized all of the gestures Louis does while telling it. Notice also how Liam, in the first video, repeats twice the word "recently": that footage is from 2011, and I think it was said on purpose to avoid any speculation. But we already knew that Louis' first ever meal was cooked for Harry, like Harry himself tweeted. For the following years he's been telling this story over and over again, stating "it's the most romantic thing I've ever done for a girl". And that's how chicken, stuffed with Mozzarella, wrapped in Parma ham with homemade mashed potatoes became an iconic quote for larries.

THE PROPOSAL

Just another supreme Larry moment on December 10th: Harry proposed to Louis with a white rose. Just deal with the fact that this really happened, I haven't been able to realize it yet and it's been more than 10 years.

LOUIS' BIRTHDAY

I inform you in advance: this is a big day. As we all know December 24th is Louis' birthday, and in 2010 he was turning 19. The boy's adventure on the X Factor was over and they all went back to their hometowns to spend some time with friends and families for the holidays. But Harry didn't forget about this special day, indeed.

I made a promise to myself to remain as objective as possible while writing on these slides, but C'MON HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO BE UNBIASED AT THIS POINT? MAN CRUSH, REALLY? SHUT THE FUCK UP. The following day, on Christmas, Johannah (r.i.p. to this amazing woman) posted this tweet, which was unexpected, as Harry's name came up totally random, but we're here for it.

LOUIS' BIRTHDAY

Still on Louis' birthday, Harry did a twitcam on that very day in which he showed the present he bought for him, being extremely proud for having it wrapped by himself. This is just cute af, so I'll leave it here.

P.S. I wrote the subtitles but I'm not sure about the last phrase, so if you think Harry says something different, please let me know and I'll fix it asap.

LOUIS' TWITCAM

As opposed to the last clip I showed you, this twitcam was actually made by Louis a few days before Harry's, on December 17th. It starts with a three minutes call (more or less) between L and H, and then proceeds with just Louis. I'll put the video here because I actually really struggle to hear anything; a lot of larries are firmly convinced to hear stuff like you love me or I love you and I've tried so hard to focus and listen but I still don't hear a single thing. Therefore I won't leave any subtitles here and I vividly recommend you to listen a couple times by yourselves first and develop an opinion on your own, before going online and look for others' theories, so that you don't get influenced by them.

CAMPUS GLASGOW

I've literally just found out about these pictures' existence, so I'm very thrilled at the moment. These photos come from a club called Campus located in Glasgow, where the One Direction boys met on December 27th to play a couple of songs and spend some time together. Please notice how Louis and Harry are always together, like in every single picture, and more important take a deep look at the last one; they're not kissing, but they're very close and intimate as they've never been (on camera).

TWITTER CHAOS

Here I'll put some more tweets to support our Larry theory. I won't insert every single post they made abouth each other, otherwise it would take me too long and I also think it would be useless: they've been in a band together for five years, of course they wrote things about each other. I just believe that some of them are worth being mentioned in this slide, as they may signify something more than just a friendship.

TINIE TEMPAH

On October 27th One Direction went to see Tinie Tempah (a british rapper) in concert in London, more precisely in a theater called KOKO. From that day we have plenty of pictures of the boys, but between them there's one that's quite cute of Louis and Harry together. They look so much like a couple and there's no discussion about this. The day after Louis tweeted about the performance, mentioning Harry (as we're used to by now). What's weird is that everyone was there: Niall, Liam, Zayn and even other X Factor contestants, so why does Louis always and only speaks about Harry?

VIDEO DIARIES

To round off the first section of our journey dedicated to Fetus Larry, we approach maybe the most iconic moments of this time: the video diaries. They were done during their X Factor path with the goal of making the fanbase, that was growing everyday, feel a little bit closer to the boys. Every video diary is more or less 3 minutes long and shows One Direction on a staircase, acting all goofy and funny, answering some questions and being overall just cute, to give the sensation of a group of friends just chilling together. They are a literal masterpiece for the directioners in general, but also and especially for larries, being full of moments that can cast doubt in anyone. So now, without further ado, let's start analyzing some of them!

• "and I'd marry you Harry" is another very famous larry catchphrase, for obvious reasons.
• Special mention: when asked about what celebrity would he marry, Harry answered David Hasselhoff (I know it doesn't prove anything, I'm just saying that both him and Louis said guys, while the others said girls)

Now this is like an interlude between the first two eras, as it's something that started during the X Factor and continued in the following years; when asked about their celebrity crushes, Louis always said ironically that his was Susan Boyle (singer from Britain's Got Talent) and Harry's has always been Frankie Sandford (member of the girl group The Saturdays). The constant references to this two girls during One Direction interviews has brought the larries to think these were Louis and Harry's nicknames when they wanted to say each other's names, but couldn't.

FOOTBALL AND SLEEPOVER

We pick up almost right where we left at the end of Fetus Era: on January 4th 2011, Louis and Harry went to the Old Trafford (one of England's biggest stadiums, located in Manchester) to watch the match between Man United and Stoke City. They had the opportunity to met up with Rio Ferdinand (a former footballer), and they both tweeted about it.

We also know that after the game, L and H took a picture with Vidic (a ManUnited player), then went to a fancy restaurant together with Ferdinand, as this latter said in another tweet. Now you may expect that after this day everyone went home to their parents, right? Well, no of course: Louis decided to spend the night at Harry's house and do a small sleepover. Obviously.

HARRY'S FIRST REAL CRUSH

This is a major event in the larry fandom and you're about to understand why. This video is from the 13th of January and it's a part of a series in which every week the YouTube channel Sugascape posted a brief video of one of the boys answering some questions. Here you can see Harry in all his cuteness saying one of the most known quotes in this fandom: "my first real crush was... Louis Tomlinson"

PING PROFILE

Short parenthesis: in 2010 Apple created a new social network called Ping, where people could share their playlists from iTunes. Louis too had an account on it, but his profile pic was changed around the 20th of January.

LARRY TWITCAM

YOU GUYS this is another huge deal for our fandom, and it happened on January 23rd, always of 2011. On this day, for the first and only time ever, Louis and Harry decided to make a twitcam together. It's just so full of moments, touches, nicknames, ecc. that I would literally spend my entire day on it if I had to select them all out of 47 minutes of video length, so I'll just leave you here a short version of it that I found on YouTube. TGI FRIDAYS

Previously, the same day of the famous larry tweetcam, the two boys went to Harry's favourite restaurant to have lunch together.

I know that's not a great proof, but it underlines how much time they spent with each other during their breaks from rehearsals. In that period of time, the band was getting ready to leave for the X Factor Tour, so they were all staying in the same hotel; but guess who was the closest? Of course Louis and Harry.

HARRY'S BIRTHDAY

So now we've come to the 1st of February, Harry's birthday. Until now we have a great amount of evidences which prove that the two of them had a good relationship, perhaps also because their hometowns were closer geographically then those of the other boys and had more chances of meeting.

THE SWEDISH BENCH

This video is from June of 2011, when the boys were in Sweden to record their first album Up All Night. They were sitting on a bench, chilling with some fans that gathered around them, and you can clearly see how much like a couple Louis and Harry were acting.
