A global popularity poll announced seven provisional winners that outrank other splendid sights. These 7 natural wonders of the world include the Northern Lights, the Grand Canyon, Paricutin, Mount Everest, Harbor of Rio de Janeiro, Victoria Falls, and the Great Barrier Reef.

The Grand Canyon of Arizona is one of the largest Canyon in the world. It measures 6,000 feet (1,828 m) in depth and stretched over 277 miles (445 km) and is one of the most visited national parks with over 6 million visitors each year.

Volcano Parícutin. It is a cinder cone volcano which can be found in Michoacán, Mexico. It is the youngest volcano in the Northern Hemisphere.

The best way to visit Paricutin Volcano is from the village of Angahuan. In this Purépecha community, guides are available to lead treks to the volcano.

  • Visit the remains of the lava engulfed church.
  • Visit the volcano museum in Angahuan.

The best months to visit Angahuan and Paricutin volcano are January to April when temperature ranges between 59 and 68 degrees Farenheit.

The Harbor of Rio de Janeiro is the world's largest natural bay, containing more water than any other bay in the world! The bay is surrounded by mountains made from granite.

Victoria Falls is the largest waterfall in the world, in the wet season. It is located on the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe.

In order to have the face to face experience, travelers will need to enter into the gates of Victoria Falls national park and explore the variety of trails that visit the top of the falls as well as the face of the falls.
