Google Keep

Google Keep is an organizational tool that is embedded into our Google Accounts. Google keep can be accessed from our Gmail, our drive, and just about anywhere else when in Chrome. Students can use Google Keep to...

  • Create checklists
  • Take notes
  • Create a system of to-do lists for homework or missing work
  • Make a "keep" for each class
  • organize research or sources for a summative
  • collaborate on a "keep" with their peers for a group project

You can access Keep from your toolbar in Chrome. You can also download the Keep Extension and add any URL to a Keep without ever having to leave the page!

Copy Link to Highlight

We all know how to embed a link (ctrl + K) to take students to a site or place we want them to go, BUT have you ever wanted them to go to a SPECIFIC place on a site? You can copy a specific link that will direct students exactly where you want them to be!
Notice in this video, how the entire website "What students are Saying About the Value of Math" can have a specific portion of it highlighted and linked. When that specific link is clicked on, instead of being directed to the top of the site, you are directed to the specific highlight.

Enhancing Slides Using Formative

You can use Formative for more than just assessing students. You can use formative to enhance your lessons and materials. You can add interactivity to your slide decks, PDFs, google docs and more.
Enhance your slides by:
Pick your slides, upload them, and add interactivity to all of them or only some of them!
  • Uploading your daily slide deck or notes
  • adding questions to your slides
  • Having students label, add questions, complete vocabulary, summarize, show what they know and so much more!
