Definition

Paralinguistics can be the aspects of spoken language that don't involve words, or is the voice inotation that accompany our speech. This includes voice pitch, voice tone amd the rhythm of speech.

How soft or loud we speak is a volume feature of paralinguistics.

Tone of Voice

Our tone of voice can also give away clues to if were being deceptive. For example, if we're lying, nervous or even angry, our voices go a higher pitch
