Who was she?
selena Quintanella was a latin singer that was very popular with Tejano music fans. At the 1987 Tejano Music Awards, she won both "Best Female Vocalist of the Year" and "Performer of the Year." Her popularity grew with her newest album, "Thinking About You" She gained and inspired the hearts of many texan Americans, showing them that no matter what race they are, they can always strive up to become who or what they want to be in the future. In 1995, She was sadly murdered at the age of 23 by the ex-president of her fanclub.
