OUR SCHOOL

Our school is located in Agioi Anargyroi, Athens. Agioi Anargyroi, a west suburb of Athens which consists a population of 34.000 people. Our school is one of the 19 high schools in our area. Our school also has a website: where both students and parents are provided with the opportunity to become aware of all the new announcements and information.

our high school 'S HISTORY

The model upper secondary school of Agioi Anargyroi was established in 1994 as an Experimental School and was renamed to upper secondary school 3 years ago.

FACTS ABOUT OUR SCHOOL

The school consists of 243 students. Each grade has 81 students and every class includes 27 teens.

In our school many teens attend classes from a wide range of the suburbs of Athens .

Since the establishment of our school, teenagers were qualified in an arbitrary way

This changed 2 years ago.Now students take tests related to maths and greek language in order to qualify in our school.

Such schools are created for trying new curriculum and innovative educational methods.

Our school provides students with some structured extracurricular activities such as our math club.Last year many students took part in clubs like

• photography club
• chemistry club
• and theatre club

Our corridors are hand painted by our students and decorated with posters. There are also recycling bins and plants.

Our students attend the physics lessons in the lab where there is proper equipment for this subject. For example there is a telescope etc.

OUR SCHOOL CANTINE PROVIDES A VARIETY OF HAND-MADE FOOD AND SNACKS. hOWEVER WE DON'T HAVE A SPECIFIC AREA FOR EATING.

park of tritsis

Park of Tritsis is located in Athens and especially in Agioi Anargyroi near our school. It is believed to be one of the biggest parks of Greece and it has taken its name in honour of Antonios Tritsis.Nowdays, the Park is used as a recreational facility where poeple can wander around and enjoy the natural scenery. The place also offers an abundance of other activities such as cinemas, restaurants, stores, ice-skating and so on. That's why we often go for a walk with our school!!!
