What it is?

The avocado is the fruit of the tree of the same name, an evergreen tree from the Lauraceae family. Pear-shaped, it contains a single rounded, light-colored seed 2-4 cm long (except for other variety), which is covered with a thin brown, woody layer.

Its originally from Puebla, located in South Central Mexico, to be the motherland of the avocado, and locals began consuming them nearly 10,000 years ago. The name of avocado comes from Náhuatl (ahuacatl) that means testicle.
