• Getting a connection with people
• Knowing more about diverse cultures, places and lifestyles

• Many countries include English in their study programs
• Children start to learn English at a younger age.

• English is the language of international communication; it gives you an open door to the world and it helps you communicate with global citizens

• English is the most spoken language in the world.

• One out of 5 people can speak or at least understand English

• Currently, almost every job demands good English communication skills

• Speaking only your language limits your jobs opportunities, speaking English increases them

• More than half the content on the internet is written in English.

• Many films, TV shows, books and music are published and produced in English

• If you understand English, you will be able to exchange information with people online and be able to use many more tools.

Airport announcements, train timetables, emergency information and street signs are often written in English

It helps prevent getting lost, since you can ask for help to read signs or ask for directions, for example.
