John Winston Lennon was born the 9 of October 1940 in Liverpool and died the 8 of December 1980 in New York, killed by a fan. He was: British artist, musician, multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, activist, composer, producer, writer and peace activist. Known for being the leader and founder of the rock band "The Beatles". He temporarily retired from music in 1975 to be with his son, but returned with Yoko Ono in 1980 with the new album "Double Fantasy". He was assessinated that same year.
