Charles Darwin was known to propose the theory of natural selection in 1859 with the release of his book. He explained natural selection as a process in which organisms will adapt to the environment they are in, therefore, leading to evolutionary changes (Herron & Freeman, 2013, pp. 73).

Natural Selection
