introduction

In this work we will talk about the cardiovascular system that is made up of the heart and blood vessels: a network of veins, arteries and capillaries that supply oxygen from the lungs to the tissues of the entire body through the blood thanks to the pumping of the heart .

Hympertension

Hypertension (or high blood pressure) is a serious disorder. Blood pressure is the force exerted by blood against the walls of the arteries, which are large vessels through which blood circulates in the body. A person is considered to have hypertension when their blood pressure is too high.

Blood pressure is given two values:

The first is systolic blood pressure: it corresponds to the moment the heart contracts or beats. The second is the diastolic pressure: it represents the pressure exerted on the vessels when the heart relaxes between one beat and another.

Complications

Agregar textoAmong other complications, high blood pressure can cause serious heart damage. Increased pressure and reduced blood flow can cause: • Chest pain • Myocardial infarction • Heart failure, which occurs when the heart cannot pump enough blood and oxygen to other vital organs. • Irregular heart rhythm, which can lead to sudden death.

stroke

A stroke happens when blood flow to a part of the brain stops. Sometimes called a "brain attack." If blood flow stops for more than a few seconds, the brain cannot receive nutrients and oxygen. Brain cells can die, causing permanent damage. A stroke occurs when a blood vessel in the brain ruptures, causing bleeding inside the head.34

There are two main types of stroke:
  • Ischemic stroke
  • Brain-vascular hemorrhagic accident

VS

A hemorrhagic stroke occurs when a blood vessel in part of the brain becomes weak and ruptures. This causes blood to leak into the brain. Some people have defects in the blood vessels in the brain that make this more likely.

Ischemic stroke occurs when a blood vessel that supplies blood to the brain becomes blocked by a blood clot.

symptoms

Stroke symptoms come on suddenly. The most common symptoms are these:
  • Numbness or weakness in the face, arm, or leg, especially on only one side of the body
  • Confusion or trouble speaking or understanding
  • Trouble seeing with one or both eyes
  • Trouble walking, dizziness, or loss of balance or coordination
  • Severe headache with no known cause

conclusion

We conclude this work with the following. The cardiovascular system is made up of the heart, veins and arteries. It was possible to find out two of the diseases that have a morbidity in the world and for this reason we must take more care of our body and go to the doctor for an adequate control for our health.
