This calculation made us rethink the excessive consumption that we have in my house of meat, electricity, water and other resources that, due to overconsumption, is deteriorating planet earth. this invites us to rethink how we should relate to nature. Should it be at the service of humans? Have we already forgotten that we depend on it to survive? Inviting us from this, to live in harmony and respect with nature, treating it as an equal, valuing everything it gives us, and paying it back through its care and maintenance.

My household´s carbon footprint

In my house we love hummus and falafel! but we still buy a lot of mea (This increase 30% my HCP) , eating vegetarian food 2 times a week will be an easy habit to incorporate, delicious, and friendlier to our carbon footprint!

In my house we consume too much fuel (Is the 20% of my HCP), this is negative for our footprint! definitely in my family we can see public transport as a possibility (not at rush hour, but at other times).

Wasting water in my house adds significantly to this carbon footprint (25% of my HCP).Not using the washing machine more than once a day would help us a lot, also the hot water baths that we take are unnecessary and easy to reduce
