German Unity Day October 3 in 2022
- The Germans celebrate this day a lot because it symbolizes the end of a war.
- They usually drink alcohol and they all get together in Berlin to continue celebrating.
- Some people just spend the day with family quiet and eating traditional foods.
Respect is also kept for the families lost during the Cold War
Conclusion
The Unification Treaty that was signed on the 20th of September in 1990 and declares the 3rd of October the national holiday, sealed the end of the division of Germany.
A very happy festivity where the people celebrate their freedom and cultural union.
It is not just any holiday because it is loaded with a lot of national and international history.
The Germans use a lot of fireworks, the people dance and eat too much food.
