Bacteria And Viruses

  • It is essential to keep surfaces clean to stop the spread of bacteria
  • Rinse cloths regularly to prevent spreading of bacteria.
  • Store equipment clean and dry
  • Store equipment seperatly to avoid cross contamination

Play

  • Assemble the equipment & PPE required Put on the PPE.
  • Ventilate areas to be cleaned.
  • Display caution/warning sign. Close off area to be cleaned.
  • Make up the disinfectant solution. Place the waste bag next to where you are going to work. If required sprinkle the spillage compound to soak up any liquid.
  • Leave the powder at least 2 minutes to soak. Using the disposable scoop and scraper remove as much of the matter as possible and place straight into the waste bag.
  • Spray the contaminated areas with the disinfection solution.
  • Allow 2 minutes contact time.
  • Using absorbent paper / disposable cloth wipe the area removing offensive matter.
