Scout troop Kozárovce Eagle

Our camp is visited every year by many children from all over Slovakia. We very like our camp.We have 11 animators.We have a loockou,totem, tents, dining room and kitchen in the camp.The camp is open just during the summer holidays in June. In the morning we arrived in the camp and went home at five o'clock. We played games. Our favourite game was Flegs.The camp lasts a week, and on the last day we roasted the food on the fireplace. We also went on the trips.Only the last night we slept in the camp.

The dam was created from a tributary of the Čaradický stream, it measures 11.1 km. In the summer season, fishermen come here to enjoy themselves, and there are plenty of them here. The dam is 4.5 m deep. One of the two ATMs that were stolen at the end of 2010 was found in this dam :-). The finder thought it was a refrigerator. The surroundings of the dam are mostly fields.

OUR FLOWER BEDS IN SCHOOL

We also have raised flower beds at our school. Not only students, but also our excellent teachers and parents their participated on their construction. Each class has its own flower bed, which it takes care of all year round.

Monument of the first and second world war victims and village history

The monument is located almost in the centre of the village. It is part of Square of the fallen heroes. Square is used for relax were people can sit. Monument is major part of the square. It is made of metal and stone. You can see the sign of Slovak republic and you can also read important events from village history, and also the names of fallen heroes from first and second world war.

Fountain

In the upper part of the center of the village is the Trinity Square, the dominant feature of which is a large life-size of the “Most Holy Trinity and St. Archangels Urjela,Simiel, Orifiel and Zachariel” set in cascading waterfalls. The fountain is located near the house of culture. The fountain was built in 2010. The fountain is built of concrete. The entire fountain is lined with stone. The railing around the fountain is made of chain.

PRIMERY ARTISTIC SCHOOL TLMAČE

It is a artistic and music school. It was founded in 1973. Currently, 16 teachers teach at the school. The school has three departments. Music, dance, art. You can learn here on 17 instruments. And it's not in our village, but it's from a nearby town, which is very near. Many children from our school go there.(:

Fire fighting club

We have a lot of clubs at our school, one of them is the firefighter's club. We train honestly every week. Sometimes we shoot from air guns, other times we spray water from fire hoses. We have spring and autumn competitions. The spring competition is a relay race, with some position. And the autumn competition consists of 6 disciplines and the track is about two kilometers long. We last had an autumn competition on October 8, 2022 in the village of Žemberovce. Both teams from our school were first. The younger team was from 6 to 12 years old and the older team was from 12 to 13 years old. All teams must have the same track.

We have many playgrounds on the school grounds, whether they are sports or children's playgrounds. We have a volleyball court, where we also have a sandpit for long jump, a tennis court and a football field, which we also use for various other activities. We also have access to the playgrounds outside of school hours. We have two playgrounds, which are mainly for small children and first grade.
