What is the placenta

The placenta is an organ that develops in the uterus during pregnancy and it provideds nutrients and oxygen to help the baby grow. The placenta is also used for removing waste from the babys blood.

what is caffeine

Caffeine

Caffeine is a stimulant commonly found in drinks like tea and coffe. It helps the brain and nervous system to stay awake and alert. Once consumed it is quickly absorbed by the gut into the bloodstream. It works by blocking the effect of adenosine which is a neurotransmitter that can make you feel sleepy by relaxing the brain.
