Intersex
We are all born with sex characteristics. They are the parts of us that a doctor would look at to decide whether our bodies are considered male or female. Some people are born with sex characteristics that are different (or that develope differently) from what a doctor would consider as typical. A person with a body like this may describe themselves as intersex. Some intersex people will identify as female, some as male, some as transgender and / or non-binary and some as intersex. Whatever the body looks like, it doesn't matter as it's just a different way of being human.
