Making wattle and daub
Equipment needed:
- Lollipop sticks or twigs of equal height.
- Air-drying clay.
- A plasticine strip, approximately 15cm x 5cm.
- Pipe cleaners.
- Straw.

Repeat with the rest of the pipe cleaners, positioning one above another up to the height of the lollipop sticks or twigs.
Push the five lollipop sticks or twigs into the plasticine strip so they are evenly spaced.
Weave the first pipe cleaner in and out of the lollipop sticks. Secure it at either end by turning the ends of the pipe cleaners inwards.

Apply the daub mixture to one side of the pipe cleaner frame using your hands. Smooth it out and allow it to dry.
Mix together equal parts of straw and clay. (Water will need to be added to the clay to make it malleable.)
