My Grade 7's and I came together for this campaign. We created a poster that was to be put up in the school for all the learners to look and read. This was also a resource we were going to use when speaking infront of the whole school. We worked on this poster together and worked on our speeches together to prepare for the day we speak to the whole school. Our aim was to educate learners about the true effects of cyber-bullying on a victim. Learners do not understand that one hateful text can lead to someone become depressed or even worse, it would lead to suicide. My learners worked very hard from this campaign. To ensure that this campaign was not only a short term thing but a long term campaign. The school asked me to come up with an idea to ensure that cyber-bullying is something that is taken serious in the school, therefore I came up with the idea of giving the Grade 6's something to do proud of, they were going to create the club with a teacher who has volenteered to oversee this club and to do creative things every year with the grade 6's to bring awareness to bullying and cyber-bullying.
