Early childhood education and care

(ECEC)

Early childhood education and care

ECEC

is one of the most important stages of lifelong learning. In our school, the children are seen as the center of education and they are responsible how to be active in the construction of their own learning. The educator is responsible for observing the interests and needs of each child and preparing spaces, routines and supporting projects that respond in accordance with these same observations.

Learning outside

learn differently

Curricular activities can (and should!) be brought out of the classroom context as we know it. Using the senses and engaging children through a wide variety of learning approaches, they can see, touch, smell, hear and taste things

for themselves, which helps consolidate learning and create a buzz of enthusiasm that fosters a love of learning through discovery led by the children themselves.

Examples in our Kindergarten

In our school, learning process is based on encouraging children to explore the world around them. Play is a key part of that exploration, as children learn by touching and playing with objects.

Outdoor Classroom Day

  • Outdoor learning as an integral part of the school routine throughout the year.
  • We incorporate outdoor learning into every child's core curriculum.
  • Each subject is connected with a specific purpose of learning to achieve the goals.
