Preparing for International Mobility

What is an international Mobility?

For students an International Mobility is an opportunity to spend part of their course abroad.They can study at an Educational Institute, undertake a work-placement or do a combination of both. In the Mungo Mobility Project students can spend between 1 - 4 weeks overseas, undertaking a programme developed by COGC course staff and the Host partner.

Who funds international Mobility?

Turing Scheme @ COGC

COGC applied and received funding for 100 students to undertake an international mobility in Academic Session 24/25. The funding COGC receives from the UK Government, through the Turing Scheme, contributes to Travel, Accommodation, Individual Allowance and Preparatory Training Costs.

After completion of mobilities, COGC staff submit final report to receive final installment of grant

what is funded?

As well as this Preparing for International Mobility course, COGC will provide you with language classes prior to travel to ensure you are fully prepared for the trip.

Flights and accommodation will be booked on your behalf, the remaining grant will be provided to you to purchase meals, medications etc during your mobility. This Individual Allowance amount will vary per group and will be communicated to you prior to travel.
