OUR FILMS!
Have a look at it!
In the Name of the Father
Based on the true story of Gerry Conlon (Daniel Day-Lewis), a Belfast youth who - along with family members and friends - was wrongly convicted of bombing two pubs outside of London. A story about the relationship between a father and his son who fought for justice to clear his father's name. We love this film because it is about victims -- those who do and don't fight back, and the different forms that those battles take. For the IRA, human life is cheap, and all targets are legitimate. For the police, it doesn't matter who's convicted, as long as the perception is that they're doing their jobs.
Do you dare?
The Sixth Sense
Malcom Crowe is a child psychologist who receives an award on the same night that he is visited by a very unhappy ex-patient. After this encounter, Crowe takes on the task of curing a young boy with the same ills as the ex-patient.We love this film because it has you in suspense until the end. A spectacular film!
A trailer?
The Beauty and the Beast
A beautiful young woman named Belle agrees to stay in a castle with a beast in exchange for her father's freedom. The beast is actually an enchanted prince. To break the spell, he must win the love of a beautiful lady before the last petal falls from an enchanted rose. "The Beauty and the Beast" is a heartfelt story about the birth of love and the capability of love to transform the way you look at people you love. The moral of this fairytale is that person's beauty comes from a heart in love and when the beauty realizes the inner beauty of the beast and the feelings it has the outer appearance means nothing to her anymore.Of course, the cartoon version!
1. La Sirena Varada, by Héroes del Silencio. 2. The Rising, by Bruce Springsteen. 3. The Sounds of Silence, by Simon and Garfunkel.
OUR SONGS!
Listen to it!
La Sirena Varada, by Héroes del Silencio
It is just one of the most wonderful poems ever written, joined to spectacular music. A piece of art!
Here it is!
The Rising, by Bruce Springsteen
Why did Bruce Springsteen write the rising? "The Rising" is the title track on Bruce Springsteen's 12th studio album The Rising, and was released as a single in 2002. Springsteen wrote the song in reaction to the September 11, 2001 attacks on New York City. You must listen to it!
Relax and listen to it!
The Sound of Silence, by Simon and Garfunkel.
What is the main message of The Sound of Silence? Garfunkel, introducing the song at a live performance (with Simon) in Harlem, June 1966, summed up the song's meaning as "the inability of people to communicate with each other, not particularly intentionally but especially emotionally, so what you see around you are people unable to love each other." Garfunkel's words can be applied to nowadays, don´t you think?
