This is the busiest time of the year for trekkers and the temperatures are also the highest. You will have to adapt by leaving early in the morning, reducing travel time and taking longer breaks. This is therefore a time to avoid making the pilgrimage, especially on horseback.

Spring

The most difficult season to make the pilgrimage to Compostela because of the weather conditions that can quickly put you in difficulty (snow, frost, rain...), it is a period that is not recommended. The advantage is that you will not be disturbed by other hikers.

Winter

35%

The weather will be mild but the rain will be much more present, as for the hikers we will find a little less than in the summer. Temperatures will be mild but rain will be much more present, as for hikers there will be a little less than in summer. A recommended period for your trip.

Fall

25%

The best time to hike, with good temperatures and landscapes revealing their beautiful seasonal colours. It is also the season when you will meet the most hikers.

How much for a pilgrimage for the Road of Santiago de Compostela on horseback?

Price

• For an 8-day tour, expect to pay around €1,400 per person
• For an 15-day tour, expect to pay around €2,000 per person

The Road Trip includes :

• Two nights, before and after, are included in the tour for added travel comfort.
• The rates shown are EXCLUDING TRANSFERS per person, in a double or triple room.
