Discover New Orleans
The Steamboat Natchez Have a brunch experience like no other aboard the Steamboat Natchez. Enjoy a live jazz band and a traditional brunch spread with some NOLA twists.
Shrimp & grits, southern biscuits and gravy, gumbo, waffles, fresh fruit, bananas foster and much more!
In the movie, the Princess and the Frog, we see can steamboats at different instances: during the day and also at night.
The Saint Charles Streetcar Line Rumbling down the ''neutral ground'' or middle of St. Charles and Carrollton avenues for more than 150 years, the St. Charles Streetcar has become a symbol of the charm and romance of New Orleans. The dark green St. Charles streetcar is the oldest continuously operating streetcar line in the world.
In The Princess and The Frog Princess Tiana can be caught swinging and singing down the historic St. Charles Avenue on the streetcar. Not only it is a convenient means of making your way around the city, but the streetcar is also a fun way to explore New Orleans’ many unique neighborhoods.
Beignets Famous for being a doughnut without a hole, this popular sweet treat is one of the city’s most famous food staples that both locals and visitors savor all year long, available 24-hours a day in New Orleans at more than one coffee hotspot. The New Orleans beignet is great for breakfast, dessert or a midnight snack.
In the Princess and the Frog Tiana is a waitress and serves beignets, among other dishes, to the clients of the café where she works.
Café du Monde Cafe du Monde in the French Quarter is the oldest and most iconic beignet shop, but several other cafes have become local favorites such as Cafe Beignet and Loretta's Authentic Pralines for their praline-filled beignets.
Beignet Fest A New Orleans family created Beignet Fest in 2016 to raise awareness and funds for local programs that serve children with special needs. You can try all types of beignets while enjoying the performance of various jazz bands and artists. Find out more about this yearly event by going on their website and social networking sites.
Jazz
Jazz is omnipresent in the movie because it takes place in NOLA (New Orleans, Louisiana) and jazz was born here.
