INTRODUCTION
The way we socialize in a global world is changing. Interaction through short videos (TikTok, Instagram Reels,...) fosters connection between users. We can transfer this way of socializing to our educational context where knowledge is built in social interaction, and so we can build learning communities.

Multimodality refers to the interplay between different representational modes, for instance, between images and written/spoken word. Multimodal representations mediate the sociocultural ways in which these modes are combined in the communication process. (Kress & Van Leeuwen 2001, p. 20)
