It has the third largest natural gas reserves in the world, which has made the small emirate the country with the highest per capita income on the planet and has led it to reach the highest human development index in the entire Arab world. The State of Qatar expressed its willingness to cooperate in the exploitation of oil and world natural gas reserves with some countries such as the Dominican Republic. The diplomat acknowledged that Qatar is fully willing to collaborate with the Ministry on energy issues.
