Connectivism is a relatively new learning theory that suggests students should combine thoughts, theories, and general information in a useful manner. Technology is a major part of the learning process.

Adult learning is known as andragogy, the art and science of helping adults learn. Andragogy is a learning theory that is designed to address the particular needs of adults, and it is based on the idea that there are significant differences in learning characteristics between children and adults.
The focus of sociocultural theory of learning is on the role social interaction and culture play in the development of higher-oder thinking skills. The ways people interact with others and the culture in which they live shape their mental abilities (Allman, 2020)
