What it means to live a moderate life

Living a moderate life may be described as avoiding extremes and instead focusing on a life committed to balance and fulfillment. Moderation can be applied to many aspects of your life.

Freedom

The sense of freedom that comes from minimalism is truly refreshing. You will no longer feel tied to material possesions. This is beneficial as less money is spent on unnecessary goods.

Fulfilling Happiness

Living a moderate life enables you to see the world from a completely different perspective. It allows you to pause for a moment and embrace the little things in life. In this modern world, there are many sources to achieve happiness, however they are mostly temporary. Moderate living gives you the chance to experience long-lasting happiness through your bonds with people as well as your own self-fulfillment.

Increased Productivity

With a balanced life and fixed routine, productivity comes quite naturally. You are less likely to stress and procrasinate, therefore getting more work done. In contrast, working or studying in excess could lead to exhaustion and being unmotivated. "Don't get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life" ~Dolly Parton.
